Viewpoints and Fixed Paradigms

We all have perceptions and opinions on living our lives. We all (especially teenagers) have to go through family members and people in our lives telling us how to live our lives; what to say, do, wear etc. Truth is, there is no right or wrong way to live. The way our generation lives is completely unethical and immoral for people of  our parent's generation. Everyone has a different perception; no two people think alike. NO ONE. I find it really funny that religious people and people belonging to spiritual organizations claim that their path is the best path. There is no such thing. No one knows what is best for you other than you! In order to become an independent human being, you need to make your own mistakes, face the consequences and learn. We all have beliefs and a specific way of looking at the world. Some of us are happy when our country wins a war, while others mourn the shedding of blood and the loss of innocent life. Some believe in free will; other's in a destined path. No one has set definite boundaries. There are no universal laws of society or how to live. What's considered "right" in the Western hemisphere could be considered "unethical" in India. And really, don't bother about what other people think or say! People are busy with their own lives and don't have that much energy to bother about what you're doing. Get over yourself; you are not the center of the Universe.
People have secrets of their own; why would they bother about yours? We all have different ways of living life. And no paradigm has an "open-minded approach". Even relativistic people have a closed mind. They will not accept anything as black or white. Everything is grey. Acceptable.
We all wear a pair of glasses through which we interpret the world around us, and we refuse to change or take them off all our lives.
But then again, that's just me right? Who's to decide if I'm wrong or right. God? He doesn't exist. At least not in my paradigm.

Evening!

Violet rushed to paint,
The Sky in royalty!
Pink came running,
To not miss this opportunity.
Yellow turned to Orange,
As the Sun said, “Goodbye for Today!”
The Sky looked magnificent
In her beautiful evening dress,
Painted by the colors of
The Supreme Artist.
Blue shyly looked on, as
The Sky changed into her evening attire.
The dress required one
More addition, and lo!
Venus appeared, and placed
Itself as a nice broach
And gave the sky life.
The Supreme Artist satisfied
With his work,
Began working on the night gown
For the Heavenly Sky!

Family- Problem with our most basic building block

Family is considered to be the fundamental building block of society. But looking today, there seems to be a problem with it. Now that society is moving from being there for each other to a self-centred existence, family in many parts of the world has lost its traditional meaning. A family is supposed to be a permanent structure and something you can always rely on when you need support. In many parts of the world, however, this structure has started falling apart. Now that a person’s needs come before that of the family, divorce has become a common phenomenon. Marriage is what starts a family, but marriage is losing the respect and boundaries it once had. Divorce occurs because marriage isn’t seen as the sacred bond that joins two souls together anymore. It’s rare to find someone who still sees marriage for what it actually is. In India, in the old days, marriages were arranged! The bride and groom didn’t even see each other, let alone know each other before marriage, yet they had respect for the decision that their parents made and they had respect for marriage and what it stands for. They compromised, adjusted and found ways to make sure that the marriage lasts. But these days, since divorce isn’t seen as such a difficult thing, it seems to always be in the back of the mind of the people who get married; they believe that if they find it too problematic to make the marriage work, they just decide to go court and get divorced. Divorce it seems has become the easier option. Marry the person you love, and then if you feel like it’s going nowhere and you get bored, get a divorce! And divorces occur despite the fact that children are already present. Is this really what our society is becoming? Is our need so great, that we can walk over anyone to get what we want? Have we forgotten compassion and love? Nothing is impossible, NOTHING. If you get problems in your marriage, you must have married that person for some good reason, right? So when you have problems in your marriage or relationship, never give up, keep trying. Think of the good times and try to figure out the root cause of the problem and mend things, instead of ending that relationship or marriage in a haste. If you give up without giving your all and trying making it work with all your strength and patience, you never know what could have been.
From experience, I can say that, if you give your 100% and the other person, with whom you are in a relationship with, isn’t willing to understand what you are going through, or trying to help in making things work, then yes it’s not really worth your time. You deserve better, and trust me, you will be so much more aware of what you deserve and who you really want to be. But of course, if there are kids involved, try your very best to make it work, don’t let your kids into thinking that love and marriage are just painful and not worth it because love is definitely the most beautiful power on this planet.

Spiraling upwards or downwards?

Have you noticed that when chocolate powder dissolves in milk, it spirals? And since the direction is downward, it spirals down, and becomes a part of the milk.
Have you also noticed that when an incense stick is burning, the vapor released, spirals upwards? It dissolves and becomes one with the air.
Now, understand the difference; the chocolate powder dissolves in the milk; the milk is in the cup, hence the chocolate powder by dissolving in the milk remains in that cup, it is not free; by becoming one with the milk, it has become trapped.
The vapor, on the other hand, has dissolved in air; air is omnipresent, the vapor by dissolving in it, has become part of something greater than itself and has become immortal by doing so!
This can be applied to real life. You can live your life like an animal and die, remaining trapped in your own life; or you can live your life by giving back to Mother Earth, by living for the betterment, of not, just yourself but others around you.
Spiral Up, Dissolve into the Air, into the Sky, into the Universe itself                                                                                          & Be Free from the Illusions and Delusions of this World.

Don't trust everything you see!

Light is an electromagnetic wave. Our eyes use this light to see the world around us. But the wavelengths we can see are just a very small part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
There are a lot of things that remain hidden from us because our eyes cannot view them. Why is this interesting? Because I believe there are among us people who perhaps see those unseen wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum. Who are those people you may ask? I believe that blind people may see these wavelengths.
We say they cannot see anything; it's true they can't see things in the wavelengths we can, but that doesn't mean that they see nothing at all! They might see things from a completely different perception.
They can't describe it however, 'cause they don't know what they are seeing. It's as unknown to them as it is for us.
Close your eyes for a few seconds; notice that even when your eyes are closed, it's not completely dark. You can "see" specks of color against the darkness.
If we can still "see" with our eyes closed, then why not blind people, when their eyes are open? They might see something more fascinating than us!
The same goes for deaf people; they might not hear the same frequencies as us, but they might hear other frequencies!
I know this is something that can be proven only after a lot of research and experiments, but it is still a fascinating thought!

Degradation and Equilibrium

Everything degrades.
It was predicted that in our time, things would go from bad to worse. But everything will slowly and gradually go back to its equilibrium, good will triumph in the end.

Situations in Life Keep Changing

Situations in life keep changing.
One day life can give you reasons to be happy, and the next day or even the next minute, life can give you reasons to be upset or angry. Happiness and contentment come from within. You can either let life's situations determine whether you are going to be in a happy mood or not, or if you realize that happiness comes from within, then no matter what the situation, you'll have a smile on your face and you will be happy.
You will get the strength to overcome unpleasant situations and the calmness required to solve problems that come your way.
It's like driving in a hilly area. You can let yourself sway from side to side on the turns, you can let the road determine what happens next or you can grab the handle on the door of the car and stay in place.
Its your choice. You can guide your life in the direction you want; you can either remain in the passenger seat or you can be the one driving the car.
You can either remain in a corner sulking 'I am so sad' or you can work towards getting out of that mood!
